China and Spain will work together for a green and low-carbon future

On November 4th, Spain's Empresarios Agrupados Internacional, S.A. and Spain's Ghesa Ingenieriay Tecnologia,S.A. appeared at the 5th CIIE. And signed with Chinese enterprises in Mexico project engineering design services and global internal combustion engine business strategic cooperation agreement. This is the first exhibition of this old European and Spain's most prestigious engineering design consulting firm after it was acquired by a Chinese state-owned enterprise.

Yi 'an and Geksa were founded in 1971 and 1963, employing more than 1,100 employees worldwide. They are world-renowned all-rounder engineering companies that   have provided engineering consulting services for more than 45 countries. It has been ranked among the top 250 international design companies in the authoritative academic magazine "Engineering News Record" (ENR) for many years. In January 2020, China NENG Construction China Power Engineering Consulting Group Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "CLP Engineering") wholly acquired Yi 'an and Geksa, which became the largest acquisition of an engineering design company by a Chinese company in Spain at that time.

Yi 'an and Geksa have rich experience in the field of energy and power, with a project performance of more than 60 million kW. In addition to traditional power generation technologies such as coal and gas, Yi 'an and Geksa also have expertise in various renewable energy generation technologies, such as wind power, photovoltaic power generation, photothermal power generation and biomass power generation. They have completed the first tower solar thermal project in Spain and the largest and most advanced hybrid solar power project in the world.

With extensive experience in the fields of infrastructure and waterscape art, Yi 'an and Geksa have developed a large number of infrastructure projects in the Middle East, Europe, Latin America and Asia, providing individual buildings, large-scale urban development and transportation services for many countries. They are responsible for   famous projects such as Barajas Airport in Madrid, Spain, and Al Adan Hospital in Kuwait. Yi 'an and Geksa are also artistic and imaginative enterprises. Their waterscape artistic achievements have been widely recognized internationally.
